Welcome to Cape San Blas!

Cape San Blas is part of a peninsula in Gulf County, Florida, extending westward from the mainland of Florida, separating St. Joseph Bay to the north from the Gulf of Mexico to the south. It is fifty-nine miles southeast of Panama City. The St. Joseph Peninsula extends northward from the west end of Cape San Blas.

UNIQUE WHITE SAND BEACHES

Cape San Blas has some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. The powder-like sand originates from pure, small quartz particles which came from a process starting in the Appalachian Mountains. Over thousands of years, as the Appalachian Mountains weathered, quartz and other particles were washed down through the Apalachicola River, ending in the Gulf.

Sunsets Over the Ocean

Because of the west-facing orientation of Cape San Blas, you can catch some really beautiful sunsets over the gulf.
